"You have the right to object to the use of your email address for the aforementioned advertising purpose at any time with effect for the future by notifying the responsible party mentioned at the beginning. You will only incur transmission costs according to the basic rates for this. Upon receipt of your objection, the use of your email address for advertising purposes will be immediately discontinued."
5.2 Product Availability Notification via Email
For temporarily unavailable items, you can sign up to receive email notifications about product availability. We will send you a one-time email notification regarding the availability of the specific item you selected. The only mandatory information for sending this notification is your email address. Providing additional information is voluntary and may be used to address you personally. For sending emails, we use the so-called Double Opt-in procedure, which ensures that you will only receive a notification after you have explicitly confirmed your consent by clicking on a verification link sent to the specified email address.
By activating the confirmation link, you grant us your consent to use your personal data in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. In this context, we store your IP address registered by the Internet Service Provider (ISP) as well as the date and time of registration in order to be able to trace any possible misuse of your email address at a later time. The data we collect during your registration for our email notification service regarding product availability will be used strictly for the intended purpose.
"You can unsubscribe from the availability notifications at any time by sending a corresponding message to the responsible person mentioned at the beginning. After unsubscribing, your email address will be promptly deleted from our designated distribution list, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use your data beyond that, which is legally permitted and of which we inform you in this statement."
5.3 Advertising by Mail
"Based on our legitimate interest in personalized direct marketing, we reserve the right to store your first and last name, your postal address, and - to the extent that we have received this additional information from you in the context of the contractual relationship - your title, academic degree, year of birth, and your professional, industry, or business designation in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR and to use it for sending interesting offers and information about our products by mail."
You can object to the storage and use of your data for this purpose at any time.
6) Data processing for order processing
6.1 "As far as necessary for the processing of the contract for delivery and payment purposes, the personal data collected by us will be passed on to the commissioned transport company and the commissioned credit institution in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR."
If we owe you updates for goods with digital elements or for digital products based on a corresponding contract, we process the contact details you provided when placing the order (name, address, email address) in order to inform you personally about upcoming updates within the legally prescribed period in accordance with our statutory information obligations pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR via an appropriate communication channel (e.g., by post or email). "To process your order, we also work with the service provider(s) listed below, who assist us in whole or in part with the execution of concluded contracts. Certain personal data will be transmitted to these service providers in accordance with the following information."
6.2 Use of payment service providers (payment services)
- Apple Pay
If you choose the payment method "Apple Pay" from Apple Distribution International (Apple), Hollyhill Industrial Estate, Hollyhill, Cork, Ireland, the payment processing will be done through the "Apple Pay" function of your device running iOS, watchOS, or macOS by charging a payment card stored in "Apple Pay". Apple Pay uses security features that are integrated into the hardware and software of your device to protect your transactions. Therefore, to authorize a payment, you will need to enter a code that you have previously set and verify using the "Face ID" or "Touch ID" function of your device.
For the purpose of payment processing, the information you provided during the ordering process, along with the information about your order, is transmitted in encrypted form to Apple. Apple then encrypts this data again with a developer-specific key before the data is transmitted to the payment service provider of the payment card stored in Apple Pay for processing the payment. The encryption ensures that only the website through which the purchase was made can access the payment data. After the payment has been made, Apple sends your device account number and a transaction-specific, dynamic security code to the originating website to confirm the success of the payment.
"If personal data is processed in the described transmissions, the processing is carried out exclusively for the purpose of payment processing in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR."
Apple retains anonymized transaction data, including the approximate purchase amount, the approximate date and time, as well as an indication of whether the transaction was successfully completed. Anonymization completely excludes any personal reference. Apple uses the anonymized data to improve "Apple Pay" and other Apple products and services.
When you use Apple Pay on your iPhone or Apple Watch to complete a purchase made through Safari on your Mac, the Mac and the authorization device communicate over an encrypted channel on Apple's servers. Apple does not process or store any of this information in a format that can identify you. You can disable the ability to use Apple Pay on your Mac in the settings of your iPhone. Go to "Wallet & Apple Pay" and turn off "Allow Payments on Mac."

"By default, when visiting the website, Google (Universal) Analytics sets cookies, which are small text files stored on your device and collect certain information. Demographic characteristics
Google (Universal) Analytics uses the special feature "demographic characteristics" and can create statistics that make statements about the age, gender, and interests of website visitors. This is done by analyzing advertising and information from third parties. This allows target audiences for marketing activities to be identified. As an extension to Google (Universal) Analytics, Google Signals can be used on this website to create cross-device reports. If you have enabled personalized ads and linked your devices to your Google account, Google may, subject to your consent to the use of Google Analytics in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR, analyze your usage behavior across devices and create database models, including cross-device conversions. 8) Retargeting/ Remarketing and Conversion Tracking
8.1 Meta Pixel with enhanced data matching
"Within our online offering, we use the service "Meta Pixel" from the following provider in the mode of extended data matching: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Quare, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Meta")"
When a user clicks on an advertisement we have placed on Facebook or Instagram, the URL of our linked page is extended by a parameter using "Meta Pixel". This URL parameter is then entered into the user's browser after redirection by a cookie that our linked page itself sets. Furthermore, this cookie captures specific customer data such as the email address that we collect on our website linked to the Facebook or Instagram ad during processes such as purchase completions, account logins, or registrations (enhanced data matching). The cookie is then read and enables the transmission of data including the specific customer data to Meta.
"We use 'Meta Pixel' with advanced data matching to make our advertisements (so-called 'Ads') on Facebook and/or Instagram more effective and to ensure that they align with users' interests or exhibit certain characteristics (e.g., interests in specific topics or products determined by the websites visited), which we transmit to Meta (so-called 'Custom Audiences')."
"In addition, we analyze the effectiveness of our advertisements by tracking whether users were redirected to our website after clicking on an ad (conversion). Compared to the standard version of 'Meta Pixel', the advanced data matching feature helps us measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns more accurately by capturing more attributed conversions."
All transmitted data will be stored and processed by Meta, so that an assignment to the respective user profile is possible and Meta can use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with Meta's data usage policies.https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/) can be used. The data may enable Meta and its partners to serve ads on and off Facebook.
All processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies for reading information on the device used, will only be carried out if you have given us your explicit consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating this service in the "Cookie Consent Tool" provided on the website.
"We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider that ensures the protection of our website visitors' data and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties."
The information generated by Meta is usually transmitted to a server of Meta and stored there; in this context, there may also be a transfer to servers of Meta Platforms Inc. in the USA.
"For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection based on an adequacy decision by the European Commission."
8.2 Google Ads Remarketing
This website uses retargeting technology from the following provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland.
For this purpose, Google sets a cookie in the browser of your device, which automatically enables interest-based advertising using a pseudonymous cookie ID and based on the pages you have visited. Further data processing only takes place if you have consented to Google linking your internet and app browsing history with your Google account and using information from your Google account to personalize ads that you view on the web. If you are logged into Google during your visit to our website in this case, Google uses your data together with Google Analytics data to create and define audience lists for cross-device remarketing. For this purpose, your personal data is temporarily linked by Google with Google Analytics data to form audiences. As part of the use of Google Ads Remarketing, there may also be a transfer of personal data to the servers of Google LLC in the USA.
All processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies for reading information on the device used, will only be carried out if you have given us your explicit consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. 8.3 Google Ads Conversion Tracking
"This website uses the online advertising program 'Google Ads' and, as part of Google Ads, the conversion tracking of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ('Google')."
"We use the Google Ads service to draw attention to our attractive offers on external websites with the help of advertising materials (so-called Google AdWords). We can determine how successful the individual advertising measures are in relation to the data from the advertising campaigns. Our aim is to show you ads that are of interest to you, to make our website more interesting for you, and to achieve a fair calculation of the advertising costs incurred."
The cookie for conversion tracking is set when a user clicks on an ad displayed by Google. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device. These cookies typically expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. Therefore, cookies cannot be tracked across the websites of Google Ads customers. The information obtained through the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for Google Ads customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page marked with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive information that would allow for personal identification of users.
"As part of the use of Google Ads, there may also be a transmission of personal data to the servers of Google LLC. in the USA."
Details on the processing initiated by Google Ads Conversion Tracking and Google's handling of data from websites can be found here: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating this service in the "Cookie Consent Tool" provided on the website.
"You can permanently object to the setting of cookies by Google Ads conversion tracking by downloading and installing the browser plug-in from Google available at the following link:"
https://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin?hl=de
In order to address users whose data we have received in the context of business or business-like relationships in a more interest-based manner, we use a customer matching feature within Google Ads. For this purpose, we transmit one or more files with aggregated customer data (primarily email addresses and phone numbers) electronically to Google. Google does not gain access to clear data; instead, it automatically encrypts the information in the customer files during the transmission process using a special algorithm. The encrypted information can then only be used by Google to associate it with existing Google accounts that the affected individuals have set up. This enables the delivery of personalized advertising across all Google services linked to the respective Google account.
The transmission of customer data to Google only occurs if you have given us explicit consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You can revoke this consent at any time with effect for the future. "Instead, the local storage of your browser is used to store a unique ID assigned by Google, which allows for an analysis of your usage of the website. For this purpose, certain user information is processed through the ID."
The ID is set when a user clicks on an ad displayed by Google. If the user visits certain pages of this website, Google and we can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. 9.1 Monotype Web Fonts
This page uses so-called web fonts from the following provider for a uniform display of fonts: Monotype Imaging Holdings Inc., 600 Unicorn Park Drive, Woburn, Massachusetts 01801 USA
When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into its browser cache to display text and fonts correctly and establishes a direct connection to the provider's servers. In this process, certain browser information, including your IP address, is transmitted to the provider.
The processing of personal data in the course of contacting the font provider will only take place if you have given us your explicit consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating this service via the "Cookie Consent Tool" provided on the website. If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font from your computer will be used.
"For the transmission of data to the USA, the provider relies on the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission, which are intended to ensure compliance with the European level of data protection."
9.3 Shopsync for Shopify
This website uses the Shopify app "Shopsync" from ShopSync LLC, PO Box 252, Jefferson City, TN 37760, USA.
With the help of ShopSync, the newsletter service "Mailchimp" is synchronized with our Shopify account in such a way that, on the one hand, updates in Mailchimp's email lists (such as an opt-out by a newsletter recipient) are automatically recorded in Shopify, and on the other hand, new contact data generated through contract conclusions on Shopify is automatically transferred to Mailchimp's email lists.
In the former case, data processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR based on our legitimate interest in the effective and cross-system maintenance of the files of advertising recipients and the efficient consideration of legally significant changes in status.
'In the second case, only based on the explicit consent of the user in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR after a contract has been concluded on Shopify, the user's first and last name, address, and email address, along with transaction-related information (purchase amount, time, and date of purchase) will be transferred from ShopSync to Mailchimp.'
Data transferred in this way is not stored or retained by ShopSync after synchronization. All information synchronized between Shopify and Mailchimp is transmitted using SSL technology (Secure Socket Layer), and all transferred information remains encrypted during the synchronization process.
The synchronization process requires the transfer of information over a secure connection to servers hosted by Amazon Web Services in the USA.
Further data protection legal notices regarding ShopSync can be found here: https://www.shop-sync.com/privacy-policy

10) Tools and Miscellaneous
Cookie Consent Tool
This website uses a so-called "cookie consent tool" to obtain effective user consents for cookies and cookie-based applications that require consent. The "cookie consent tool" is displayed to users in the form of an interactive user interface when the page is accessed, where consents for specific cookies and/or cookie-based applications can be granted by checking boxes. By using the tool, all cookies/services that require consent are only loaded when the respective user grants the corresponding consents by checking the boxes. This ensures that such cookies are only set on the user's device if consent has been given.
The tool sets technically necessary cookies to store your cookie preferences. Personal user data is generally not processed in this context.
"In individual cases, if the processing of personal data (such as the IP address) occurs for the purpose of storing, assigning, or logging cookie settings, this is done in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR based on our legitimate interest in a legally compliant, user-specific, and user-friendly consent management for cookies and thus in a legally compliant design of our online presence."
Another legal basis for processing is also Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR. As data controllers, we are subject to the legal obligation to make the use of technically unnecessary cookies dependent on the respective user consent.
"As far as necessary, we have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider that ensures the protection of our website visitors' data and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties."
Further information about the operator and the settings options of the cookie consent tool can be found directly in the corresponding user interface on our website.

"IF YOU EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT TO OBJECT, WE WILL CEASE PROCESSING THE AFFECTED DATA. HOWEVER, FURTHER PROCESSING REMAINS RESERVED IF WE CAN DEMONSTRATE COMPELLING PROTECTABLE REASONS FOR THE PROCESSING THAT OVERRIDE YOUR INTERESTS, FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS, AND FREEDOMS, OR IF THE PROCESSING SERVES THE ESTABLISHMENT, EXERCISE, OR DEFENSE OF LEGAL CLAIMS."

The duration of the storage of personal data is determined by the respective legal basis, the purpose of processing, and – if applicable – additionally by the respective statutory retention period (e.g. commercial and tax retention periods).
When processing personal data based on explicit consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR, the affected data will be stored until you revoke your consent.
"If there are statutory retention periods for data processed in the context of contractual or contract-like obligations based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, this data will be routinely deleted after the retention periods have expired, provided that it is no longer necessary for the fulfillment of the contract or the initiation of a contract and/or we have no legitimate interest in further storage."

Unless otherwise stated in the other information of this declaration regarding specific processing situations, stored personal data will be deleted when they are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed.
